Diesel Cars
Please note that all Diesel cars are fitted with either Diesel Particulate Filter or Diesel Exhaust Fluid technology and are not suitable for all drivers. The vehicles have to be maintained strictly in line with the manufacturer guidelines and failure to do so may result in damage to the vehicle which will not be covered by either the manufacturer warranty or a maintenance contract.
Specifications
Any vehicle specifications are correct to the best of our knowledge but are supplied to us by third paries. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that these are correct, this information should be used only as a guide and no decision should be made to fund a vehicle without carefully veryifying the specification yourself with the manufacturer and ensuring that it suits your exact requirements.
Period
This refers to the term of the contract and can be between 24 and 60 months. Additional charges may well apply if you wish to terminate the agreement early.
Miles Per Annum
The annual mileage of the agreement. This represents your intended annual mileage.
Pre-Registered
Should you take a pre-registered vehicle you will be entitled to the balance of the manufacturer warranty. Should the vehicle break down once the warranty period has expired you would be liable for breakdown and repair costs unless a maintenance agreement has been added to your agreement. An MOT will be required once the car reaches the age of 3 years old.
Advance Rental / Payment
The advance rental is generally payable directly to the funder around 7 days after delivery. This amount forms part of the agreement and is NOT refundable.
Monthly Rental / Payment
The amount payable to the funder each month. Business figures are generally quoted exclusive of VAT and Personal figures include VAT where applicable.
Contract Mileage
The total mileage of the agreement. Should you return the car at the end of the agreement with more than the contract mileage – excess mileage charges would apply. There is no refund for unused mileage
We allow one mileage change during the period of the agreement and therefor will contact you with 12 months left to run on your agreement to check that you are on target for the contract mileage.
Excess Mileage
Mileage over the agreed Contract Mileage is charged at the rate shown when the car is returned to the funder.
Road Tax
Road tax for the period of the agreement is included in the following
Business Contract Purchase / Business Contract Hire/ Personal Contract Hire
Road Tax for the 1st year only is included in the following
Finance Lease/ Personal Contract Purchase / Lease Purchase / Hire Purchase
Quoted Prices
Whilst we endeavor to ensure that all pricing is up to date and accurate, until an order confirmation has been sent to you, pricing is subject to change by the funder and we reserve the right to pass on any changes in pricing which may affect the figures quoted. In the unlikely event we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed with the order at the amended figure. Should you wish to cancel due to a change in pricing no fee would be payable by you.
Delivery
Quoted delivery times are an estimate given to us by the supplier of the car and are subject to change by the manufacturer , supplier or funder. We will keep you informed of any changes to expected delivery dates. We have no influence over manufacturer lead times and production delays do happen. We do not accept any responsibility for losses or inconvenience caused by these delays.
Prices quoted include a “driven” delivery to a chosen address on the UK Mainland. The vehicle will have delivery mileage from the supplying dealer. We can arrange for a “transported” delivery at an additional cost to you.
End of Contract
At the end of the agreement , should you be returning the car to the funder, it will be inspected for any damage which falls outside the “Fair Wear and Tear Guidelines”. A copy of the BVRLA Fair Wear and Tear Guide will be emailed to you toward the end of your agreement but is available upon request.
